OrCAD PSPICE AD

Engineers utilize OrCAD PSpice® simulation solutions for accurate Analog and Mixed-signal simulations. PSpice A/D is a mature, widely used and proven advanced native Mixed-signal simulator, and a superset of the Core PSpice simulator. Applications range from Complex Mixed-Signal Design simulation containing analog and digital components, to supporting models like IGBTs and Pulse-Width Modulators, DACs and ADCs. The latest release is powered with enhanced PSpice simulation engine, user interface and simulation models to reduce convergence issues, minimize the learning curve and expand model coverage.

Advanced simulation for analog and mixed-signal environments

Designers utilize PSpice® simulation solutions for accurate analog and mixed-signal simulations supported by a wide range of board level models. Since the inception of the PSpice simulator in 1985, PSpice has been continuously enhanced by expanding its portfolio of technologies supporting the latest hardware and operating systems. Each subsequent release has addressed numerous technological advances and customer requests for enhancements.

Product Highlights: Design Entry and Editing

  • Use the advanced capabilities of OrCAD Capture® design entry, or OrCAD Capture CIS — the world’s most popular schematic entry system, to enter your designs
  • Select from a library of over 18,000 simulation models, or choose from OrCAD Capture/OrCAD Capture CIS library of parts for general schematic entry
  • Easily import existing PSpice designs, created with MicroSim ® Schematics, into the OrCAD Capture/PSpice environment to upgrade your design process
  • Navigate through complex designs quickly with the hierarchical browser
  • Create hierarchical block diagrams with automatic pin placement on hierarchical blocks
  • Wiring of analog and digital components will reflect true signal analysis
  • Cadence® Concept Allegro® Design Entry HDL is also fully integrated with PSpice, including one-button simulation and cross-probing
