Displays
AMDL-SED offers the latest and most innovative way to incorporate GPS synchronized time and data throughout your facility, providing you with the benefits of improved productivity and reduced maintenance costs.
Time synchronization is crucial in today’s electronic systems. The GPS based Display receives the time from the GPS satellites and provides time that is traceable to the National Institute of Standards to network or time code based systems. A large variety of clock displays are available with digit size from 1 to 8 inches. The Time Displays can read the time through NTP protocol and from IRIG Signal. The digital clock displays units are available in red, green and blue.
AMDL-SED offers Wireless LED Message Display which can be kept at different parts of the city and the messages like Advertisements, News. Public can send flash information from Mobiles or PCs to these displays for instant viewing. This is a Scrolling (Moving) Message Electronic Display Board which displays the messages received as SMS or GPRS Packets.
The concept is based on Wireless TCPIP using GPRS Technology in which the PC and all the displays will be on a wireless network. The users type the messages in any desired Indian language (Note 1) on a central PC and send it as a file to a FTP Server. Whereas the displays will periodically connect to the server, transfer the relevant files, which contain the messages, decode and transfer the messages to the displays.
AMDL-SED offers Automatic Location Identification system which can be programmable to display the Destination name from 0.5 KM to 5 KM.

Automatic Location Identification System (ALIS) is an end solution to ease out the difficulties of the passengers traveling in the A/C coaches by Train or Bus, who always face the problem of not being able to identify their destination in transit. The problem takes its height in the night journey, where passengers become restless and make futile efforts peeping through the window panels not to miss / bypass their destination.
The system receives signals from the satellites through a GPS receiver present in the LED Display Board, based on the Latitude, Longitude & Station / City details as available in the database, it locates and identifies an approaching Station / City and displays it through the LED Display Board installed inside the Bus / Train compartment. The display board can also be used for scrolling advertisements at intervals. The system also displays accurate time based on the signals received from the satellites.
